The Giants invited him to spring training and in March 2011, he was named to the opening day MLB roster. The following day, he made his MLB for the Giants. In February 2014, Brandon and the Giants agreed and signed a one-year $2.9 million contract to avoid salary arbitration.
Brandon became a free agent after the 2021 MLB season but accepted the Giant’s $18.4 million offer to remain with them for another season.
