Tommy La Stella, real name Thomas Frank La Stella is a professional baseball player with a height of 1.8m. Tommy currently plays the infielder position for the San Francisco Giants baseball team. He wears the number 18 jersey when playing on the field.
He was born in Westwood in New Jersey, United States o January 31, 1989, to Jane and Phil La Stella. He had his high school education and amateur baseball career at the Saint Joseph Regional High School in Montvale, New Jersey.
Tommy attended St. John’s University after high school for a year before transferring to Coastal Carolina University. He played college baseball at both universities.
When he finally graduated from college, he was selected by the Atlanta Braves team in the eighth round of the 2011 MLB draft. After signing with them, he spent his time playing in the minor leagues he was assigned to.
The Braves traded him in November 2014 to the Chicago Cubs. He was with the Cubs till November 2018 when they traded him to the Los Angeles Angels. Two years after playing for the Angels, they traded him in August 2020 to the Oakland Athletics baseball team.
