Joc Pederson happens to be a professional baseball outfielder who currently plays for the San Francisco Giants baseball team. He was born in California in the United States. The 29-year-old player has a height of 1.85 m and owns the number 23 jersey.
Joc was known to be the ultimate wide receiver player back in high school. He attended Palo Alto High School. After high school, Joc gained admission to attend the University of Southern California, his father’s Alma mater but after the Los Angeles Dodgers selected him in the 2010 Major League Baseball (MLB) draft, he chose to sign with them instead of going to college.
Upon signing with the Dodgers, he received a signing bonus worth $600,000. He was made to play in minor leagues and was later promoted to the Class-A (Advanced) Rancho Cucamonga Quakes of the California League in 2012.
In 2014, the Dodgers added him to their 40-man roster. That same year, he was called up to the Major leagues for the very first time. Joc later signed a one year contract with the Chicago Cubs and left the Dodgers.
The Cubs traded him to the Atlanta Braves in July 2021. In March 2022, the San Francisco Giants signed a one-year contract worth $6 million with him.
