Mike Yastrzemski, real name Michael Andrew Yastrzemski is a professional baseball player who positions as a right fielder for the San Francisco Giants of Major League Baseball.

Mike was born to Carl Michael Yastrzemski Jr and Anne Marie on August 23, 1990, in Andover, Massachusetts in the United States of America.

Mike played baseball when he was schooling at St. John’s Preparatory School in Danvers, Massachusetts. He became the team captain during his senior year. He then played college baseball after high school at Vanderbilt University although he was drafted by the Boston Red Sox baseball team, he chose to attend college so he did not sign with them.



When Mike was in his junior year in college, the Seattle Mariners team chose him in the 30th round (911th overall) of the 2012 MLB draft. The draft came with a $300,000 signing bonus but still, he did not sign with them and decided to continue playing college baseball at the University in his senior year.

In 2013, after he had graduated from college, the Baltimore Orioles selected him in the 14th round of the 2013 MLB draft. He signed with the team this time and started playing professionally.

In March 2019, the Orioles traded to the San Francisco Giants. He made his MLB debut in May that year for the Giants. He still plays for the Giants even today.
