Huascar Jose Ynoa Ventura, simply identified as Huascar Ynoa plays professional baseball for the Atlanta Braves baseball team of the Major League Baseball(MLB). He plays as a pitcher for the team and has been with the Braves since 2017.
Ynoa was born on May 28, 1998, in Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic. Ynoa made his professional debut in 2014 after he was signed by the Minnesota Twins as an undrafted international free agent. After he was signed, he played for the DSL Twins for the entire 2015 season and played for the GCL Twins for the whole 2016 season. He spent his last season with the Twins playing for the Elizabethton Twins in 2017.
The Atlanta Braves purchased his contract from the Twins in July of that same season. Ynke spent the 2018 season playing between the Rome Braves and the Florida Fire Frogs. The Braves called him up to the major leagues in June 2019. The following day, he made his MLB debut for the Braves when they faced the Philadelphia Phillies.
In May 2021, Ynoa was placed on the Brave’s injured list as he had a fractured right hand. He was placed on the 60-day injured list and was reactivated back into the games in August 2021.
