Yoan López Leyva was born on January 2, 1993, he is a Cuban Major League Baseball pitcher for the New York Mets (MLB). He formerly played for the Arizona Diamondbacks in Major League Baseball.
López pitched for Mobile in 2016. He struggled, compiling a 5.52 ERA in 62 innings, and announced his retirement from the organization. In September 2016, he returned to the organization to pitch for the Diamondbacks’ Arizona League club.
