Frazier led the National Collegiate Athletic Association in hits as a junior, setting a Bulldogs single-season record with 107. He also established school records for assists (240), putouts (120) in a season, and career putouts (375). He made the SEC All-Tournament Team.
The Pirates traded Frazier and $1.4 million in cash to the San Diego Padres on July 25, 2021, in exchange for infielder Tucupita Marcano, pitcher Michell Milano, and outfielder Jack Suwinski.
He batted .305/.368/.411 in 2021 and led the major leagues in line drive percentage with 29.4 percent.
The Padres traded Frazier to the Seattle Mariners on November 27, 2021, in exchange for Ray Kerr and outfielder Corey Rosier.
