Alec Thomas Mills, simply called Alec Mills is one of those professional baseball pitchers in the major leagues and with the Chicago Cubs baseball team. He has a height of 1.93 m and a d weight of 93 kg.
Alec was born and raised in Tennessee in the USA on November 30, 1991. His amateur career started at Montgomery Central High School in Cunningham, Tennessee where he played for the school’s baseball team. He then continued at the University of Tennessee to play college baseball.
Alec was drafted out of college by the Kansas City Royals during the 2012 MLB draft. He signed with them and was assigned to play with the Idaho Falls Chukars to start his professional career. During the 2013 minor league season, he spent it with the Lexington Legends and then in 2014, he was with both the Idaho Falls and Lexington.
In 2015, he played for the Wilmington Blue Rocks and was later added to Royal’s 40-man roster. He spent the 2016 season with the Northwest Arkansas Naturals of the Class AA Texas League and was promoted to the major leagues on May 18 that year.
He made his MLB debut that same day for the Royals. The Chicago Cubs purchased his contract in February 2017 and he has been playing for them to date.
