Kyle Wright was the fifth overall choice in the 2017 MLB Draft, and he made Jackie Bradley Jr. lose his bat for his first professional strikeout just over a year later.
He joined the Braves’ Opening Day rotation the following season. At the age of 23, it appeared that the road to fame was paved.
That was not the case! Wright was demoted after three unsuccessful outings (7.07 ERA) in 2019; he returned in July and gave up seven runs before getting relegated again. He had an ERA of 5.21 in eight starts in 2020.
Kyle Wright Salary
Kyle Wright receives an annual average salary of $720,000.
