Chadwick Chandler Tromp, simply referred to as Chadwick Tromp is a professional baseball from Aruba who plays as a catcher for the Atlanta Braves baseball team. He was born on March 21, 1995, in Oranjestad in Aruba.
Tromp signed with the Cincinnati Reds baseball team in May 2013. He was signed as an international free agent and was immediately assigned to the AZL Reds to begin his professional career. He spent the 2014 minor league season between the AZL Reds and the Single-A Dayton Dragons. The Reds invited him to Spring Training for the 2018 season.
When he returned, he spent the 2019 season playing with the AZL Reds and Louisville and in November that same season, he elected free agency. The San Francisco Giants signed a minor league contract with him in January 2020. He was called up to the major leagues in July 2020 and he made his MLB debut on July 29 against the San Diego Padres.
The Atlanta Braves claimed him off waivers from the San Francisco Giants in September 2021. He was cleared off waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Gwinnett Stripers by the Braves in April 2022.
