Harrison Joseph Bader plays professional baseball in the position of centre fielder for the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team. Harrison was born and raised in New York where he had his high school baseball career at the Horace Mann School in New York City.
In 2015, he was named to the All-Tournament Team in the College World Series. During the 2015 MLB draft, the St. Louis Cardinals chose him in the third round of the draft. He signed with the Cardinals and was given $400,000 as his signing bonus. The Cardinals made him play with the State College Spikes of the Class A-Short Season New York–Penn League to make his professional debut.
Harrison was promoted by the Cardinals the same year to play with the Peoria Chiefs of the Class A Midwest League (MWL). He spent the 2016 minor league season playing for the Springfield Cardinals of the Class AA Texas League. That year, MLB Pipeline named him as the Cardinal’s 2016 Minor League Player of the Year.
The Cardinals promoted him to the major leagues for the first time in July 2017 where he made his MLB debut. He was ranked as the fifth-best prospect in the Cardinals organization by MLB.com at the end of the 2017 season.
