Arthur Frank Warren is a Major League Baseball pitcher who currently plays for the Cincinnati Reds. He was a member of the Seattle Mariners in the past.
Warren played baseball at the University of Cincinnati and Ashland University after graduating from Napoleon High School in Napoleon, Ohio.
In the 2015 Major League Baseball draft, he was selected by the Seattle Mariners in the 23rd round.
Warren debuted with the Arizona League Mariners, pitching seven innings and striking out 10 batters. During the season, he was promoted to the Bakersfield Blaze from the Clinton LumberKings.
He had an 11-2 record with a 3.17 ERA in 27 games between the two organizations.
He went 3-1 with a 3.06 ERA and 1.28 WHIP in 43 games with Bakersfield in 2017. Pitched in the Arizona Fall League following the season.
Due to injuries, Warren pitched for the Arkansas Travelers in 2018, finishing 1-2 with a 1.72 ERA in only 15+23 innings.
He returned to Arkansas to start 2019,[8] going 2–1 with a 1.71 ERA in his first start.
On September 10, 2019, the Mariners picked Warren’s contract and promoted him to the major leagues.
On September 12, he made his major league debut against the Cincinnati Reds, pitching a scoreless 13th inning.
The Texas Rangers claimed Warren off waivers on October 21, 2020. Texas designated Warren for assignment on December 26, 2020.
Warren was dealt to the Cincinnati Reds for monetary considerations on January 6, 2021. Warren was placed on the 60-day injured list with an oblique injury on August 11.
