Connor Brogdon is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball (MLB).
A native of Clovis, California, Brogdon went to high school at Liberty High School in Madera. The Atlanta Braves selected him in the first round of the 2013 draft, but he chose to attend Fresno City College instead of signing with the team.
His first two seasons at Lewis–Clark State College were spent as a member of the NAIA World Series-winning team, which he left to join.
Brogdon was selected in the 10th round of the 2017 MLB Draft by the Philadelphia Phillies. For starters, he was supposed to be a starting pitcher, but he ended up as a reliever in the minors to take place.
After the 2020 minor league season was canceled, the Phillies invited Brogdon to an alternate training location. His MLB debut occurred on August 13, 2020, when he allowed three runs to the Baltimore Orioles, although he improved in September.
For Lewis–Clark State College, Brogdon was a starter pitcher after his sophomore year.
