Kent Emanuel whose full name is Kent Jeffrey Emmanuel is a professional American baseball pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball who was born on June 4, 1992. He is known to have played baseball for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and made his first appearance with the Houston Astros in the year 2021.
His early days began with him attending Woodstock High School in Woodstock, Georgia. He got his draft pick in the year 2010 in the 19th round of the 2010 Major League Baseball but declined the offer and decided to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and played college baseball for the North Carolina Tar Heels. He earned the name of best Atlantic Coast Conference Baseball Pitcher Of the year.
He began his professional career in the year 2013 in the 74th overall selection with the Houston Astros. When he made his first appearance with minor league GCL Astros in 2013, he made a pitch of 9 scoreless innings. He became part of their 40-man roster on November 4, 2019. He joined his now present team Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball on November 19, 2021.
