Kyle Gibson on the 20th of December, 2016. Kyle was selected as the 22nd overall choice in the 2009 MLB draft after a strong college career at Missouri.
He appeared to be on his way to the majors before a UCL tear sidelined him in 2011. On June 29th, 2013, he finally made his major league debut.
He had established himself as a staple in the Twins rotation by 2015. Kyle’s career appeared to be on the rise on the surface. However, there was a mystery lying beneath all the optimism, promise, and possibility.
Kyle had been dealing with shoulder and low back problems for the previous two seasons. He’d tried every form of standard physical treatment and, according to his own admission, he was addicted to anti-inflammatories.
Kyle was frightened and frustrated by a 7-week stint on the disabled list during the 2016 season. He was tired of the same old same old and didn’t want to waste another season on anti-inflammatories, so he decided to try something new.
He contacted his collegiate pitching coach, who recommended The Florida Baseball ARMory to him.
