Aaron Monteiro Bio
Aaron Monteiro plays offensive tackle in the National Football League for the Washington Commanders football team. He is 145 kg and 2.01 m tall. He attended and participated in high school football at Brockton High School, where he was named to the Boston Globe and Brockton Enterprise All-Scholastic teams as well as receiving ESPN Boston All-State and Big Three Conference honors.
He attended Boston College after high school and played collegiate football for the Boston Eagles. He participated in six games as a freshman in 2015, starting five of them at left tackle. He participated in 12 games as a sophomore and started 12 of them at left tackle. In 2017, he started all 13 games at left tackle as a junior.
As a senior in 2018, he took part in 70 snaps during the team’s season-opening game against UMass. At left tackle, he made his debut. In the 2019 NFL Draft, Monteiro was passed over and signed as an undrafted free agent with the Miami Dolphins. Later in the season, he was signed by the New England Patriots, but he was released six days later.
He spent the most of his NFL career on the Carolina Panthers’ practice squad following his 2020 signing. In a game during the regular season, he hadn’t yet participated. In May 2022, he became a member of The Washington Commanders.
