Andrew Symonds, a former Australian cricketer, was killed in a car accident in Townsville on Saturday night (May 14) at the age of 46.
Symonds, on the other hand, was one of the world’s most flamboyant cricketers.
Since his international debut in 1998, the right-hander has established himself as a key element in Australia’s batting line-up, particularly in the middle order, where he has produced some magnificent innings.
He also contributed a few overs when needed and was a fantastic fielder on any surface.
He was physically powerful and combative, and he went on to score two Test hundreds.
He was a part of two World Cup-winning Australian teams and was also one of cricket’s most feared players.
Symonds was one of the finest of his time, with approximately 7000 runs across all categories.
Symonds was a powerful right-handed batter who could also bowl off spin or medium pace, making him a versatile player.

Barbara Symonds And Ken Symonds were Andrew Symonds’s adoptive parents.
Adoptive parents of Symonds Ken and Barbara went to Australia shortly after his adoption, and Ken began teaching at the private fee-paying All Souls St Gabriels School when he was three months old.
After adopting Andrew, Barbara and Ken had two more children. Much is not known about them.
