Introducing Anibal Sanchez, a pitcher in Major League Baseball who competes for the Washington Nationals. In addition to playing with the Detroit Tigers and Atlanta Braves, he is known to have made his Major League Baseball debut in 2006 with the Florida Marlins. Coupled with his wife Ana, Anibal Sanchez has two kids.

The Boston Red Sox was where Anibal started his professional career. He was acquired by the Boston Red Sox in 2001 as an international free agent. For two seasons, he played for his first-team and League in the Venezuelan Summer League before suffering an elbow injury.

After that, Anibal was traded to the Florida Marlins along with Hanley Ramirez and two other players, primarily at the close of the 2005 season. After Jeremy Hermida and Ramirez, he was ranked third in the Marlins system during his early stints, and at the start of the 2006 season, he was ranked 40th overall in the major leagues.
