Anne Heche passed away, a week after she was critically injured in a car crash.
Last week, the 53-year-old mother of two from Los Angeles crashed her car into a two-story house.
According to the PA news agency, the Los Angeles Police Department is treating the crash as if it were related to a felony DUI.
The family confirmed the news to TMZ, saying in a statement, “We have lost a bright light, a kind and most joyful soul, a loving mother, and a loyal friend. Anne’s beautiful sons, her iconic body of work, and the causes she was so passionate about will carry on after she is gone.
