Locals have identified the woman, Antonella Castelvedere whose fatal injuries have sparked a murder investigation as a “well-liked” university lecturer. Her death has sparked an investigation.
After coming forward, Dr. Antonella Castelvedere’s family has been identified by the media as the victim of a fatal incident. Castelvedere was 52 years old.
An investigation into her death as a possible murder was opened after it occurred at a location on Wickham Road in Colchester.
On Wednesday, around 11:45 a.m., officers from the police department rushed to the location after receiving calls expressing concerns for the well-being of a woman.
They found her to be in a critical condition when they arrived at the scene. She eventually passed away at the scene.
Officers also discovered a man who was hurt on the property and found him to be there when they arrived. After being taken to the hospital, he was detained on suspicion of having committed murder.
The death of Dr. Castelvedere, a senior lecturer in English Literature at the University of Suffolk and the leader of the MA creative and critical program, has been confirmed by the university to the Gazette.
A spokesman said: “The University of Suffolk community is deeply saddened by the untimely death of Dr Antonella Castelvedere.
“Antonella was a widely respected and well-liked member of staff at the university where she was an outstanding academic in English and critical writing.
