Marquise Brown, who plays as a wide receiver is currently with the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League. A first-round pick by the Baltimore Ravens in the 2019 NFL Draft, Brown played college football at College of the Canyons and Oklahoma.
Brown participated in Pop Warner football in the same Florida league as current Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, but the two were on opposing teams throughout their time in the league.
Brown went to school in Hollywood at South Broward High School, where he also excelled in track. Brown’s best performance in the 100-meter dash was 11.53 seconds, which he accomplished while competing in the 11th grade in the Florida High Schools Athletic Association’s 4A District 13 regional championship track event.
He improved his 100-meter time to 10.90 seconds and posted a personal-best time of 21.94 seconds in the 200-meter race at the Florida High Schools Athletic Association’s 2A District 15 regional championship track meet after transferring to Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory School where he also played football and ran track. The meet was held as part of the Florida High Schools Athletic Association’s 2A District 15.
