Bailey Gaither is an American football wide receiver for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at San Jose State.
During his senior year at Paso Robles High School in California, Gaither was named to the first team of All-State for baseball. In addition, he was a member of the all-conference team.
In 2015, he sat out the season as a redshirt, and then in 2016, he started one of 12 games he played in (4-43-10.8, one touchdown; 7-128-18.3 kick returns), and then in 2017, he played in four of nine games (22-320-14.5, four TDs; 13-256-19.7 kick returns).
After getting off to a solid start in his junior year (16-327-14.5, three touchdowns receiving; 3-50-16.7 kick returns in four games, three starts), he suffered a rupture in his Achilles tendon that forced him to miss the rest of the season.
After a great comeback the following fall, Gaither was recognized as honorable mention All-Mountain West Conference after leading San Jose State with six receiving touchdowns while playing in all 12 games for the Spartans (52-812-15.6).
He led the team in receiving yards with 725, scored four times, and had an average of 17.7 yards on his 41 receptions, all of which contributed to him being named to the first team of all-conference performers in 2020.
During his career, Gaither also returned 12 punts for a total of 56 yards (4.7 yards per return).
