Ben Stille is a professional football player who lines up defensively for the National Football League’s Miami Dolphins. He is 134 kg in weight and 1.93 m tall. He played football at Ashland-Greenwood High School, where he was enrolled. He was a tight end who caught 26 receptions for 415 yards and 5 touchdowns. As a defensive end, he was a powerful force, compiling 79 tackles, including 46 solo stops, as well as 17 tackles for loss and nine sacks.
At the University of Nebraska, he participated in college football for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and health sciences in December of 2021, and in May of 2021, he graduated from Nebraska with a master’s degree in nutrition and health sciences.
In 2019, he was a participant in the Nebraska Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. During his actual rookie year, he redshirted. He started nine games while a redshirt freshman in 2017 and made nine appearances. He participated in every game and made 11 defensive end starts as a sophomore. He participated in all 12 games as a junior, making two starts, and finished with a career-high 31 tackles and eight TFLs.
He started all eight of the games at defensive end during his senior year in 2020 and finished with 27 tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks. In his final season, he started each of the 12 games, capping a career that included 20 consecutive starts. He was signed by the Miami Dolphins in May 2022 as an undrafted collegiate free agent.
