Since 2019, Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson has served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party. From 2016 to 2018, he served as Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, and from 2008 to 2016, he was Mayor of London.

His Grandparents are James Fawcett, Wilfred Johnson, Irene Williams and Frances Beatrice Lowe who are  from his mother and father’s side

Sir James Edmund Sandford Fawcett DSC QC was a barrister in the United Kingdom. From 1962 to 1984, he was a member of the European Commission for Human Rights, and from 1972 to 1981, he was its president. He was knighted in 1984.



Fawcett was born in Wallingford, Berkshire at the time. He was the son of Joseph Fawcett, a Church of England clergyman, and Edith.

He attended Oxford’s Dragon School and Rugby School before studying classics at New College, Oxford.

He earned a first-class degree. He received a prize fellowship at All Souls College, Oxford, and remained there from 1961 to 1969. In 1938, he was admitted to the bar by the Inner Temple after winning the Eldon Law Scholarship.

Wilfred Johnson

 

Wilfred Johnson, nicknamed “Johnny,” was a member of the Royal Air Force’s Coastal Command during the Battle of the Atlantic. His mission was to search for and destroy German U-boats.

Wilfred was born in Bournemouth in 1909 as Osman Wilfred Kemal, the son of Ali Kemal, an Ottoman Empire interior minister and former newspaper editor.

Irene Williams

Irene Williams was born in 1907 to Stanley Fred Williams and Marie Louise de Pfeffel. Irene died in 1987 of unspecified causes. She married Wilfred Johnson.

Frances Beatrice Lowe

Frances Beatrice Lowe was born in Woodstock in December 1913 to Elias Avery Loew and Helen Tracy Porter. On August 7, 1937, Beatrice Lowe married James Edmund Sandford Fawcett.
