Cameron Goode, a linebacker from California, was chosen by the Miami Dolphins with the 224th overall choice in the NFL Draft in 2022. This was the third pick for the Dolphins.
In spite of the fact that the Dolphins already have Channing Tindall in their linebacker room, the selection of Goode provides the team with even more depth in that position.
Goode played for the California Golden Bears for a total of six seasons and wore the redshirt during his first year as a true freshman.
After four years of collegiate football, Goode concluded his career with 171 tackles, 36.5 tackles for loss, and 21.5 sacks.
Goode played in all 12 games and recorded 9.5 sacks in 2019, earning coaches’ honorable mention All-Pac-12 recognition.
Goode received his bachelor’s degree in legal studies from the University of California, Berkeley, in December 2020.
Subsequently, he earned graduate certifications in entrepreneurship from Cal in May of 2021 and business administration from Cal in December of 2021.
