The young Camogie player Kate Moran will be laid to rest in Co Galway on Friday afternoon, just ten days before her 21st birthday.
Kate Moran, who would have turned 21 this week, will be laid to rest tonight from 4 pm to 8 pm at the family home in Glenagloughan, Monivea.

A candlelight vigil was held for Kate Moran, a Galway camogie player who died on Monday after being hurt during a senior league game in the county.
Thousands of people attended the vigil in Athenry, which was held in a pall of melancholy. Moran was on her way to becoming an all-star for her county.
Joe Rabbitte, manager of the Athenry Camogie team, said: “She was the center of attention at our club. She was a girl who used to hoist every other girl in the room.
“Kate always had that smile on her face, even when things weren’t going so well.
“She’ll never be replaced,” says the narrator.

Kate Moran died on Monday after suffering a brain injury during a club match.
The Camogie player from Co Galway who died in a contest following an unintentional collision will be buried on Friday, ten days before her 21st birthday.
