Charlie Kolar, a well-known tight end for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League, plays football professionally. He is 1.98 m tall and 114 kg in weight. He lived nearby and attended Norman North High School. He was a basketball and football player. As a senior, he had 66 receptions for 1,240 yards and 12 touchdowns, which contributed to his selection for the state’s first team.

He has caught 52 passes as a junior for 920 yards and 13 touchdowns. In order to play for Iowa State, Kolar turned down invitations to play collegiate football for Air Force, Army, and Stephen F. Austin before the start of his senior year. At Iowa State University, he played college football for the Cyclones.

In his rookie season, he took part in all 13 games. He had 11 receptions for 137 yards and three touchdowns at the end of the season. As a redshirt sophomore, he caught 51 passes for 697 yards and seven TDs, earning first-team Big 12 honors. He debated going pro after the 2019 campaign but ultimately decided to stay for his junior redshirt season.

After completing his redshirt junior season with 44 receptions for 591 yards and a team-high seven touchdown grabs, he was awarded first-team All-Big 12 for the second year in a row. In the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, he was chosen by the Baltimore Ravens.
