Jon Taylor Embree (born October 3, 1988) is an American football coach and former wide receiver who is now the running backs coach for the National Football League’s New York Jets.
He was a member of the San Diego Chargers for a brief time after playing collegiate football at UCLA.
Taylor spent four years at UCLA as a wide receiver. The Chargers signed him as an undrafted free agent in 2012, but he was released at the end of the preseason.
Embree began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at UNLV in 2012, when he was credited with convincing Jerry Rice Jr. to move from UCLA to UNLV for his senior season.
He also spent two seasons as a graduate assistant at UCLA before joining the Kansas City Chiefs as a defensive assistant in 2016.
