Corn Elder is a qualified cornerback who plays for the National Football League’s Washington Commanders. His weight and height is 84 kg and 1.78 meters tall. He played football while attending Ensworth High School. As a senior, while rushing for 2,618 yards and 39 touchdowns, he guided the team to its third consecutive Division II-AA state title.

He was Tennessee’s Mr. Football Player of the Year twice when he was a senior in high school and was rated as a four-star prospect. As a University of Miami student, he participated in college football for the Miami Hurricanes. As a true freshman in 2013, he took part in 10 games, recording 7 tackles while racking up 164 yards on 7 kickoff returns.

Being one of Miami’s top defensive playmakers as a senior, he started all 13 of his games and had an outstanding season. In addition to being named to the second team All-ACC by the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association, he was named to the first team All-ACC by ACC coaches. At the 152nd overall choice in the 2017 NFL Draft, Elder was selected by the Carolina Panthers in the fifth round.

In August 2019, he was released as part of the last roster cuts. He joined the practice squad of the New York Giants in September 2019. April 2021 saw his signing with the Detroit Lions, and August saw his dismissal. Elder joined to the practice squad the next day after being released by the Washington Commanders on August 30, 2022.
