Cristian Ignacio Garn Medone is a professional tennis player from Chile. He first attained No. 17 in the world for singles on September 13, 2021, according to the Association of Tennis Professionals rankings. He now holds the top spot in Chile.
He was conceived on May 30, 1996, in Arica, Chile. In the U14 world championship final in 2010, Garn defeated Italy with Bastián Malla and Sebastián Santibáez. The next year, at the age of 14, Garn won his first ITF Junior title at the Pascuas Bowl, a Grade 5 event.
After winning the Eddie Herr in singles and doubles as well as the Orange Bowl Doubles alongside Nicolás Jarry in 2012, when Garn was 16 years old, he broke the top ten in the ITF Junior Rankings. By defeating Duan Lajovi in the first round of the 2013 VTR Open at the age of 16 years and 8 months, Garn became the youngest player from Chile to win an ATP Tour match.
