English Journalist newsreader and television presenter for BBC Dan Walker has announced that he would be moving to Channel 5 news as the company has provided him with a wider picture for the future.
The newsreader who presented Football Focus from 2009 to 2021, and has presented BBC Breakfast since 2016 stated that the new phase of his life had not been an easy task or decision to make but he had to for the sake of his future.
Dan Walker decided to take a new step in his life after six years on BBC Breakfast.
Speaking during a video to make the announcement, he stated saying;
“I have a little bit of news for you. In the next few weeks, I’m going to be leaving BBC Breakfast and moving to 5 News and to Channel 5.
Channel 5 came with big ambitions, with big plans and I don’t think opportunities like this come around very often and I can’t wait.
