Desirae Marie Krawczyk is an American tennis player who competes professionally and specializes in the doubles event.
She reached her career-high doubles ranking of world No. 11 in May 2022 and has won seven championships on the WTA Tour, including two at the WTA 500 level.
Her ranking in doubles is her highest ever. Krawczyk is a three-time winner of a Grand Slam tournament, having triumphed in the mixed doubles competition at the French Open, the United States Open, and the Wimbledon Championships in 2021, the latter two victories coming in partnership with Joe Salisbury.
In women’s doubles competition, she and her partner Alexa Guarachi finished in second place at the French Open in 2020 and advanced to the semifinals of the United States Open the following year.
In July of 2018, she partnered up with Alexa Guarachi of Chile to take home the WTA Tour doubles championship at the Swiss Open. This victory was her first ever on the WTA Tour.
She teamed up with Alexa Guarachi to compete in the women’s doubles category at the French Open, where they reached their first major final and came in second place.
Krawczyk was victorious in the mixed-doubles competition at both the French Open (which was her maiden Grand Slam title) and Wimbledon (which was won with Neal Skupski as her partner).
At the US Open, where she was seeded second, she and Salisbury once again competed in the final of the mixed-doubles competition at a Grand Slam event.
They prevailed in the championship match against Giuliana Olmos and Marcelo Arevalo, taking it in straight sets each time.
She made history by being the first player since Martina Hingis and Leander Paes in 2015 to win three Grand Slam mixed doubles titles in a single calendar year.
