The couple’s Cessna plane, which took off from Michigan, stopped in McMinnville, Tennessee, before continuing on to the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport in Panama City, Florida, according to the Bay County (Florida) Sheriff’s Office on Facebook.

The investigation has been handed over to the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
