Though Saget has Covid, he died of blunt head trauma.

The autopsy report released today by the Orange County Medical Examiner’s Office stated that actor and comedian Bob Saget died from “blunt head trauma” despite the fact that he had Covid-19.

PCR testing can yield positive results for weeks after recovery for people like Saget, who died in his Orlando, Florida hotel room this month. In December, he reported he had COVID-19.

Additionally, his heart was found to be 95 percent obstructed on one side by an autopsy.

In accordance with the findings of the investigation, he had no alcoholic beverages in his system. Reports said his system contained the anti-seizure drug clonazepam/Klonopin.

The study stated that Saget’s system was also discovered to contain the antidepressant Trazodone.
The gap between the brain and the skull has bleeding spots, according to the study.

This type of brain injury can be devastating because it causes compression of the brain tissue.

Doctor Sanjay Gupta of CNN stated it seemed like Saget may have suffered from “bleed on top of the brain,” which may have resulted in “subdural hemorrhage” before the Medical Examiner’s findings were released on Wednesday.

A statement from Saget’s family, posted on Wednesday, expressed gratitude for the family being “overwhelmed with the wonderful outpouring of love from Bob’s admirers.”
