Famous wide receiver for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League, Adriel Jeremiah Green is also known by his stage name A. J. Green. He weighs 94 kg and is 1.93 meters tall. In South Carolina’s Summerville, he attended Summerville High School.
He was a three-sport athlete at Summerville, competing in football, basketball, and track. After graduating from high school, he played collegiate football for the University of Georgia’s Georgia Bulldogs from 2008 to 2010. With 166 receptions for 2,619 yards and 23 touchdowns, he finished his college career. In January, he made a formal declaration of his intent to participate in the 2011 NFL Draft.
In the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft, the Cincinnati Bengals selected Green with the fourth overall pick. He scored three touchdowns for the first time in a game of his professional career in Week 2 against the Baltimore Ravens in September 2018. In Week 14’s matchup with the Los Angeles Rams, he surpassed 10,000 receiving yards in his career. In the latter part of the season, he finished with 54 receptions for 848 yards and three touchdowns. In April 2022, he agreed to a one-year extension with the Cardinals.
