Arthur Smith is an American football coach who is the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League. Smith previously served as an assistant coach for the Tennessee Titans, most recently as an offensive coordinator, prior to becoming head coach of the Falcons in 2021.
He was a member of the offensive line and team captain at Georgetown Preparatory School in North Bethesda, Maryland, his alma mater.
He also saw time on the defensive line as a defensive tackle. Smith was also a member of the track and field, lacrosse, and basketball teams before he ventured into coaching.
