Justin Hollins (born January 15, 1996) is an American football linebacker for the National Football League’s Los Angeles Rams. He was a member of the Oregon Ducks football team in college.
Hollins was born and raised in Arlington, Texas, where he attended Grace Preparatory Academy before transferring to Martin High School in his senior year. Hollins, who played on the same defensive line as future first-round choice Myles Garrett in the 2017 NFL Draft, has 59 tackles and four sacks at Martin.
Several recruiting organizations regarded him as a three-star talent, and he chose the University of Oregon over offers from more than a dozen institutions, including Oklahoma, Baylor, Oklahoma State, and Iowa.
Hollins redshirted his sophomore year at Oregon. Hollins started on the defensive line for the Ducks after a redshirt season, finishing second on the team in tackles for loss (9.5) and sacks (1.5). (3).
In his redshirt junior season, he had 59 tackles, 11.5 sacks, and an interception returned for a score. On the year, Hollins had 64 total tackles, including 14.5 for loss, 6.5 sacks, five forced fumbles, and six passes defended.
He was voted first-team All-Pac-12. Only one other FBS player has five sacks, five forced fumbles, and one interception. To date, Hollins has 184 tackles (36 for loss), 14 sacks, two interceptions, 7 forced fumbles, and 3 fumble recoveries.
