Dontae Johnson is an American football cornerback for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at NC State and was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He also previously played for the Seattle Seahawks, Buffalo Bills, Arizona Cardinals, Kansas City Chiefs, and Los Angeles Chargers.
He was picked to the New Jersey all-prep first-bunch. He had 108 handles, six obstructions along with three obliged misuses in his senior season. He similarly played AAU ball in auxiliary school
During his lesser season, Johnson was chosen ACC Defensive Back of the Week for his presentation against Wake Forest on November 12, 2012. He was welcome to the 2014 Senior Bowl as an individual from the North group.
