Ehire Enrique Adrianza Palma, professionally called Ehire Adrianza is a professional baseball player currently with the Washington Nationals baseball team. He plays as a shortstop for the Nationals and has a height of 1.85m.
Ehire was born and raised in Venezuela on August 21, 1989, in the City of Guarenas. During the 2006 MLB draft, he was signed by the San Francisco Giants baseball team and he made his professional debut that same year playing for the DSL Giants. He was made to stay with the DSL the following year.
During the 2008 minor league season, he was assigned to play for the AZL Giants, the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes and the Fresno Grizzlies. The Giants promoted him to the major leagues for the first time in 2013 and he made his MLB debut that year for the Giants on September 8, 2013.
In February 2017, the Minnesota Twins claimed him off waivers. He played for the Twins till he was signed by the Atlanta Braves in January 2021 on a minor league contract. The Braves added him to their 40-man roster in March of that year. In March 2022, he signed a one-year contract with the Washington Nationals.
