The popular and well-known politician Jeremy Hunt, who has been chairing the Health and Social Care Select Committee since 2020, is noted for having a famous daughter named Eleanor Hunt.
He served in the Cabinet as Secretary of State for Culture, Olympics, Media, and Sport from 2010 to 2012. He ran as a candidate in the contest for the leadership of the Conservative Party.
Following Kwasi Kwarteng’s dismissal as Chancellor of the Exchequer following the disastrous mini-budget, Jeremy Hunt was named as the next Chancellor on October 14.
