Eli Ankou, a free agency defensive tackle in the National Football League, is a professional football player from Canada. He is 147 kg and 1.91 m tall. He went to Red Lion Christian Academy and St. Peter Catholic High School, where he was a strong side defensive end player.
He got a football scholarship at UCLA and represented the Bruins in college football. He made one tackle as a backup in three games as a sophomore due to an injury. As a backup in all 13 games as a junior, he recorded 5 tackles, 1.5 sacks, three passes deflected, and one recovered fumble.
Following the May 2017 NFL Draft, the Houston Texans signed undrafted free agent Ankou to a contract. On September 2nd, 2017, he was released by the Texans. He was acquired by the Indianapolis Colts off waivers in September 2020. The first five weeks of the season were deemed inactive for him. He became a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ practice squad in October 2021.
