Erin Jayne Plummer, an Australian TV personality, died suddenly at the age of 42. The celebrity was best known as the host of the chat program Studio 10.
Erin’s heartbroken co-workers shared the awful news on social media over the weekend, describing the late TV personality as “a wonderful human inside and out.”
Erin’s cause of death is still unknown. The 42-year-old TV host is survived by her grieving husband and three young girls. Erin’s heartbroken colleague Sarah Harris reported Erin’s unexpected death at Studio 10 over the weekend. Erin’s bereaved friend praised her as a “gold medal parent” in a devastating post.
“With the tragic death of our friend and advertorial presenter Erin Jayne over the weekend, Studio 10 lost a little shine. Erin Jayne has been a cheerful and familiar face on Australian television for two decades, much of that time cheering up our mornings with her effervescent attitude and dazzling grin.”
“Erin was simply a wonderful human inside and out, and if it hadn’t been for TV, Erin Jayne may have had a sporting career,” she concluded.
“She represented Australia in synchronized swimming, as well as surf lifesaving. There is no doubt Erin Jayne was a high achiever and a gold medal mother to her three little daughters. We’ll miss you around the studio, Erin Jayne, and we’re all extending our love and support to her family.”
Erin featured on various additional programs on Australian television for more than two decades, in addition to Studio 10. The TV personality has previously worked for MTV, The Morning Show, and Totally Active TV.
