G Flip G Flip, is an Australian singer, songwriter, producer, drummer, and musician from Melbourne, Victoria.
As a drummer since the age of nine, Flipo is still heavily involved in the songwriting process, even though he now plays a variety of instruments.
One of Flipo’s most notable accomplishments is that he was named the first recipient of the ARIA Emerging Artist Scholarship.
During the ABC’s New Year’s Eve Celebration 2018 at the Sydney Opera House, Flipo performed “Proud Mary” and “Blame It on the Boogie,” and their song “About You” was featured in Season 2, Episode 10 of The Bold Type.
In 2020 and 2021, Flipo created and produced two wildly popular Crocs collaborations.
The ‘JibbitzTM charms that adorn each pair were created to depict tiny aspects of G Flip’s life,’ according to the shoe collections. Both collections were gone in a matter of minutes.
“About You” came in at number 38 on the Triple J Hottest 100, 2018 in January, while “Killing My Time” came in at number 62.
