A prominent Russian politician, Vladimir Volfovich Zhirinovsky, is the leader of Russia’s Liberal Democratic Party. The Russian political showman who mixes populist and nationalist rhetoric with anti-Western venom and a boisterous, confrontational attitude is well-known for his passionate nationalist views.
Recently, he’s been experiencing some health problems. In February of this year, he was hospitalized in a Moscow hospital in severe condition with COVID-19. A month later, it was revealed that Zhirinovsky had been hospitalized with the virus and had been placed in a medically induced coma.
COVID-19 problems, including sepsis and respiratory failure, were still affecting him in March. however, On 25 March 2022, Zhirinovsky was reported to have died in hospital.
Zhirinovsky travelled to Moscow in 1964 to study at Moscow State University. He played a minor role in 1980s Soviet politics. A 1989 bid for a People’s Deputy was shortly abandoned.
