Guy Damien Lafleur OC CQ, nicknamed “The Flower” and “Le Démon Blond”, was a Canadian professional ice hockey player.

Born on September 20, 1951, in Thurso, Canada, Guy Lafleur is known to have died on April 22, 2022, in Montreal, Canada.

The ice hockey player was known to have been the first player in National Hockey League history to score 50 goals in six consecutive seasons as well as 50 goals and 100 points in six consecutive seasons.

Guy was married to his beautiful wife by the name of  Lise Lafleur with whom they have been together from 1973 till his death in 2022.

He was known to have played from 1971 to1985; and  1988 to 1991. Lafleur also has a height that stands at  6 ft 0 in (183 cm).

The ice hockey player is the son of  Réjean Lafleur and Pierette Lafleur. He is also a father of two children by the name of  Mark Lafleur and Martin Lafleur.

Guy had open heart surgery with 5 bypasses after he started having problems with his health. In November, he then had a cancerous lobe removed from his left lung. Then, in October 2020, cancer was diagnosed in his right lung.

He was said to have passed away on  April 22, 2022,  at the age of 70 years
