Former Temple Owl outside linebacker, Haason Reddick is currently in his sixth season in the NFL. He was the first linebacker taken in the 2017 NFL Draft when Arizona picked him in the first round (13th overall).
Haason Reddick joins John Rienstra, who was taken by the Pittsburgh Steelers with the ninth overall pick in the 1986 NFL Draft, as Temple’s two highest draft picks in school history.
Haason Reddick was signed by the Arizona Cardinals on June 8 to a four-year, fully guaranteed contract worth $13.4 million with a confirmed $7.94 million signing bonus.
He made his first career start in the season opener for the Arizona Cardinals when was played away from home against the Detroit Lions. In that game, he recorded a season-high eight combined tackles, even though his team was defeated 35-23.
Haason played four seasons with the Cardinals and after four seasons, he signed a one-year contract with the Carolina Panthers as a free agent.
His stint with the Panthers lasted for a year and then signed a three-year, $45 million contract with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Reddick recorded 1.5 sacks in week 3’s game against the Washington Commanders, along with a forced fumble, leading to a 24-8 victory.
