The Denver Broncos are a professional American football franchise based in Denver. The Broncos compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league’s American Football Conference (AFC) West division.
Denver, Colorado hosts the team’s home games at Empower Field at Mile High in Dove Valley. A founding member of the American Football League (AFL), they began to play in 1960 and joined the NFL in 1970 as a result of the merger.
