Ralph Ahn, born Ralph Philander Ahn was an American actor and a former teacher who was born in Los Angeles on September 28, 1926, in Los Angeles, California, United States of America. His family was among the first wave of Korean immigrants in the United States of America.
Ralph’s dad, Ahn Chang-ho, was the leading activist for Korean independence. His father’s contributions to the Korean independence served as a great influence on his involvement in politics, World War II, and support for the Korean community of Los Angeles.
Ahn’s dad died March 10, 1938, and three years after his father’s death, World War II happened which caused Ahn to join the US Navy to fight the Japanese. He is one of the Koreans who fought alongside the US during the war.
Ahn’s only known parent is his father, Dosan Ahn Chang-ho. Ahn was also married at a point in his life. He had two children with his wife. His wife, before marrying Ahn had three children from previous relationships. She died in 1969.
