Jeremy Joan Pena, a professional baseball shortstop with the Houston Astros of Major League Baseball, was born in the Dominican Republic on September 22, 1997. In 2022, he debuted in the MLB.

Pena started the 2019 season with the Class A Midwest League’s Quad Cities River Bandits, where he was selected an All-Star, before being promoted to the Class A-Advanced Carolina League’s Fayetteville Woodpeckers in June.
