Louis Leterrier happens to be a French film director and producer based in America. He is currently in the news for being officially hired to direct “Fast X”, which is fast and furious 10.
Louis was born in France on June 17, 1973. His father is François Leterrier, who is also a director and his mother, Catherine Leterrier works as a costume designer. Louis was part of a music group at a young age where he was the drummer for the group. When Louis was 18 years, he got trained in advertising and publicity in France.
He left France after his training and enrolled at the Tisch School of the Arts at the New York University where he studied cinema. In 1997, he assisted Jean-Pierre Jeunet to direct the movie Alien Resurrection. He also collaborated with Alain Chabat during the production of Astérix & Obélix: Mission Cléopâtre which was released in 2002.
Later that year, he was made to direct the movie, The Transporter which had Jason Statham as the main cast. Louis had his first big-budget American film in 2008. He directed The Incredible Hulk movie. In 2019, Leterrier directed the first season of The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance for Netflix.
